Today’s Human of Ibis Sydney World Square is Jacky Li Ching Yin, Front Office Manager.

What do you spend your time doing at Ibis Sydney World Square?
As being a front office manager, I look after the general operations of the hotel along with my GM to ensure the dasy run smoothly and the service quality towards our valuable guest and staff. 

What is/are your favourite thing(s) about the hotel?
I love the location of the hotel and the people who’s working in the hotel.

What was the most interesting job you had before Ibis Sydney World Square?
I was a banquet attendant and supervisor at the Shangri-La Hotel.

How did your first week at Ibis Sydney World Square go and what were your first impressions?
A lot of information on the first day however all colleagues were very supportive and helpful. They made me feel welcome since I first walk into the hotel.

Favourite food?
I LOVE all kinds of food especially tasty and fresh food.

Favourite movie?
I love the Harry Potter series. Maybe that’s why I become a magician!

Favourite song?
A classic piece – Cannon in D

What is your funniest/silliest moment in life?

If you could have dinner with any fictional or non-fictional character/person, who would it be and what would you eat?
I would like to meet David Copperfield. He is my inspirational idol on being a magician. We will go to a Molecular Gastronomy restaurant as it is full of creativity and ideas just like magic!
