The Queen Victoria Building is a 19th Century Shopping centre with glorious stained glass windows and architecture that endures throughout the building. Built in the 1890s, the grand building was originally constructed as a market, but today houses over 180 of Sydney's finest fashion boutiques, jewellery shops and homewares. The QVB occupies an entire city block on George Street and is one of Sydney's most prestigious shopping centres. It is also well worth a visit and easy to get to from ibis Sydney World Square. You will arrive after just a ten-minute walk up George Street.
