Spring is in the air and as the weather warms up it’s the perfect time to get out and about in Sydney! With Spring holidays now in full swing (for some) we’ve got 7 activities/places for you to enjoy in Sydney.

1.       Paddy’s Markets – Haymarket

Paddy’s is a short stroll down from Chinatown, so you’ll be able to visit both in the same outing. Paddy's Market on a Saturday morning is a good place to start your day, with plenty of places to pick up a light snack and we suggest you start with the retail outlets (factory surplus - great bargains to be found) on levels 2 & 3 before making your way down to level 1 for the traditional market stalls.

Paddy’s is open from 10am – 6pm, Wednesday to Sunday

2.       Chinese Garden of Friendship - Darling Harbour

Much more than just a city garden, the walled Chinese Garden respectfully recreates the philosophy and harmony of a traditional Chinese garden with waterfalls, lakes, exotic plants, pavilions and hidden pathways. With koi carp swimming in the lakes, willows weeping in the breeze and a Teahouse serving Chinese tea and dim sum, be careful when you discover Darling Harbour’s secret garden—you may never want to leave.

Adult: $6 / Child: $3 (under 12 years) / Family: $15 (two adults and two children) / Concession: $3 (Australian pensioners and students only)

3.       Cidery Tours – Sydney Brewery

Take a tour around Sydney’s own Brewery and taste the range of locally brewed beers and cider. This tour is by appointment only so be sure to call up in advance and book. Tickets for the tour are $10 and include tastings and schooner of your favourite at the end. Click here to book

4.       Chinatown

Chinatown boasts a wide variety Asian cuisine, festivals, shops and history. It is situated around Hay Street and Dixon Street, and is a short walk from ibis World Square and is perfect for a lunch stop or a stroll.

5.       Mission Sydney Escape Rooms

Mission Room Escape Sydney is an actual simulation of puzzle games (escape the room) where the objective is to escape the room by your brain. It is made to be more than just a game, giving you a unique experience by adopting the latest technologies, giving you endless surprises. This one is definitely on my list!

7.       Aladdin @ the Capitol Theatre – Haymarket

Now that you are all relaxed, it’s time for some world class entertainment. ALADDIN is the must-see show of the year, from the producer of The Lion King, the beloved story of Aladdin comes to thrilling theatrical life in this bold new musical.

With exhilarating choreography, show-stopping production numbers and astonishing visual effects, Disney’s ALADDIN is breathtaking.
